Our Story
Fuse Kuala Lumpur, we're a fragrance house dedicated to promoting Malaysian Oud globally. Our journey began in 2006 with a single goal: to challenge the norm of oud fragrances by creating exceptional fragrances infusing each creation with Malaysian Oud.
We believe that by doing so, we are a part of something bigger: to support the prosperity of our local Agarwood planters and to support the sustainable growth of the dying Oud industry. Not only that, this will also embrace the lifestyle of sophistication, eco-consciousness and the fragrance can bring joy and uniqueness to people's lives.
Our Journey
Oud can be banyardy, skanky and even poopy to some; and most people relate Oud perfumes to middle Eastern scent profiles. But, Oud can also be sensual, sexy, balsamic and sweet, and Oud perfumes can also be modern and blend into most olfactive families. This has become our mission: to challenge the norm of oud fragrances by creating exceptional fragrances infusing each creation with Malaysian Oud.
From humble beginnings as Agarwood planters, we ventured into oud trading along Bukit Bintang street, Kuala Lumpur, facing numerous challenges along the way. Through perseverance and determination, we learned the art of distilling oud and cultivated relationships with experts in the field. With guidance from a master distiller in Kelantan, we mastered the techniques of extracting agarwood essence and crafting high-quality oud oils.
In 2014, our dream came to fruition with the launch of FUSE PARFUM at MAHA 2014. Since then, we've embarked on a journey of learning and growth, studying perfumery abroad in the UK and LA. Throughout our evolution, we've remained committed to our roots, showcasing Malaysian Oud in every fragrance as FUSE KUALA LUMPUR. Now our fragrances can be accessed on media socials, online shopping platforms, Malaysian International Airports and 3 local perfume stores. Our dedication has been recognized by government agencies, solidifying our position as a symbol of perseverance and passion in the fragrance industry.
